গ্রামীণ উন্নয়নের প্রতিবন্ধকতা হিসেবে সুদ : ইসলামের আলোকে একটি সমীক্ষা| Interest as Obstacle to the Rural Development : A Survey in the Light of Islam

Abstract

In terms of ideology and principles, Iqtisad is completely different from the capitalistic economy. Interest is a destructive one-way process of money navigation. Modern capitalist economists firmly believe that interest is essential for the enforcement of economic prosperity. But research of the Islamically imbibed Muslim economists has shown that interest is in no way essential for economic management. Wealth grows in an economy through this, cannot be beneficial for human society at all. No matter how much more it generates. In the present article, the descriptive approach has been adopted through which the obstacles of interest to the rural development have become evident. The points that have been proved from the essay are that interest destroys the rural economy; it hinders the rural development; it makes the poor poorer; the backbone of rural economy is fractured because of the interest. It further proves that the interest is a sharpened weapon of exploitation and an insurmountable obstacle to the alleviation of poverty and economic progress for all people, especially those living in rural societies.

সারসংক্ষেপ : আদর্শ ও মূলনীতির দিক দিয়ে ইসলামী অর্থব্যবস্থা পুঁজিবাদী অর্থব্যবস্থার থেকে সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্নধর্মী। সুদ হচ্ছে একমুখী অর্থ প্রবাহের এক ধ্বংসাত্মক প্রক্রিয়া। আধুনিক পুঁজিবাদী অর্থনীতিবিদদের দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস যে, অর্থনৈতিক সমৃদ্ধির স্বার্থে সুদ অপরিহার্য। কিন্তু মুসলিম অর্থনীতিবিদদের গবেষণায় প্রমাণিত যে, অর্থনৈতিক ব্যবস্থাপনায় সুদ মোটেও অপরিহার্য নয়। এর মাধ্যমে অর্থব্যবস্থায় সম্পদের যতই প্রবৃদ্ধি ঘটুক, সার্বিকভাবে তা মানব সমাজের জন্য মোটেই কল্যাণকর হতে পারে না। বক্ষ্যমাণ প্রবন্ধটিতে বর্ণনামূলক পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করা হয়েছে, যাতে গ্রামীণ উন্নয়নে সুদের যেসমস্ত প্রতিবন্ধকতা রয়েছে তা স্পষ্ট হয়ে উঠেছে। প্রবন্ধটি থেকে যেসব বিষয় প্রমাণিত হয়েছে তা হলো, সুদ কিভাবে গ্রামীণ অর্থনীতিকে ধ্বংস করে দেয়, কিভাবে গ্রামীণ উন্নয়নকে ব্যাহত করে, কিভাবে দরিদ্র শ্রেণী আরো দরিদ্রতার কবলে পতিত হয়, কিভাবে সুদের মাধ্যমে গ্রামীণ অর্থব্যবস্থার মেরুদ- ভেঙ্গে যায় ইত্যাদি। এ থেকে আরো প্রমাণিত হয় যে, এটি শোষণের শাণিত হাতিয়ার এবং সমস্ত মানুষ বিশেষত গ্রামীণ সমাজে বসবাসকারী মানুষের দারিদ্র্যমুক্তি ও অর্থনৈতিক অগ্রগতি লাভের পথে ধ্বংসাত্মক প্রতিবন্ধক।
