The smack of the Covid-19 has jeopardized the global economy resulting in a catastrophic downturn. Different waves of the pandemic have already projected around 13% to 32% global trade decline. Bangladesh has also been undergoing its negative economic ramifications from the pandemic whack. Hence, in the future, Bangladesh has to take huge precautions in dealing with such challenges before they strike anew. The “public interest” is the prime objective of Islam; hence Islam, in ensuring the holistic wellness of human being in the multi-faceted crisis like pandemic, and guaranteeing economic safety, architects a variety of structure-based economic sectors. Being one of the biggest Muslim countries, Bangladesh, by implanting its economic programs through adopting those sectors may stand positive and effective in overcoming the crisis. In the present study, by adopting qualitative and quantitative presentation and using Islamic financial instruments, a number of policy-guidelines has been proposed whose proper appreciation may protect Bangladesh against the short-and long-term economic crises resultant from pandemic.
