বাংলাদেশে ট্রান্সজেন্ডার মতবাদের বিস্তার : ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে একটি পর্যালোচনা |The Spread of Transgender Ideology in Bangladesh : A Critique from Islamic Perspective

Abstract

Transgender issue has become a hotly debated topic recently. This is a topic related to the gender identity issues. Transgender refers to the condition in which some people with mental disorders identify their identity and gender as different from their biological sex. The inner feelings and sexual orientation of this group stand opposite to the apparent gender. This is due to dissatisfaction, disharmony and mental disorders in their body and mind. It is very difficult to accept their existence, because most of the people of Bangladesh consider this phenomenon as a deviation and it is in conflict with the prevailing moral and religious values of the society. The Qur’an and Sunnah has addressed this issue explicitly. Scrupulously considering the acute sensitivity of the doctrine this article aims to generate awareness among the Bengali-speaking Muslim community. The author has employed descriptive and analytical methods in this study. This article has demonstrated that a section of Muslim-majority Bangladesh is trying to legalize the transgender issue, despite the fact that this practice is strictly prohibited in Islamic Sharia. In such a situation, this study urges that it is the responsibility of people of all walks of life to curb this faith-destroying sedition and work unitedly to prevent its spread.

সারসংক্ষেপ : সম্প্রতি ট্রান্সজেন্ডার ইস্যু বহুল চর্চিত একটি বিষয়ে পরিণত হয়েছে। এটি লিঙ্গ পরিচয়জনিত সমস্যার সাথে সম্পর্কিত একটি বিষয়। ট্রান্সজেন্ডার সেই অবস্থাকে বোঝায়, যা কিছু মানসিক ব্যাধিগ্রস্ত লোক তাদের পরিচয় ও লিঙ্গকে জৈবিক লিঙ্গ থেকে ভিন্ন দাবী করে। এই গোষ্ঠীর অভ্যন্তরীণ অনুভূতি এবং যৌন অভিযোজন আপাত লিঙ্গের বিপরীত। এর কারণ হলো, তাদের শরীর ও  মনের মধ্যে অসন্তোষ, অসঙ্গতি ও মানসিক ব্যাধির উপাদান বিদ্যমান। তাদের দাবী মেনে নেওয়া খুব কঠিন, কারণ বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ তাদের দাবীকে বিচ্যুতি হিসাবে বিবেচনা করে এবং এটি সমাজের বিদ্যমান নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ ও ধর্মের সাথে সাংঘর্ষিক। এ বিষয়ে ইসলামী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি সুস্পষ্টভাবে কুরআন-সুন্নাহতে উল্লেখ হয়েছে। বিষয়টি অত্যন্ত সংবেদনশীল হওয়ার কারণে বাংলাভাষী মুসলিম সমাজকে এ মতবাদ সম্পর্কে সচেতন করার উদ্দেশ্যে এ প্রবন্ধটি প্রণীত হয়েছে। এ গবেষণায় বর্ণনা ও বিশ্লেষণমূলক পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করা হয়েছে। এ প্রবন্ধ থেকে প্রতীয়মান হয় যে, ইসলামী শরীয়ত এই কাজটি কঠোরভাবে নিষিদ্ধ করা সত্ত্বেও মুসলিম প্রধান বাংলাদেশে একটি মহল ট্রান্সজেন্ডার ইস্যুটিকে আইনানুগ বৈধতা দেয়ার অপচেষ্টা করছে। এমতাবস্থায় সর্বস্তরের মানুষের দায়িত্ব, ঈমান বিধ্বংসী এই ফেতনার লাগাম টেনে ধরা এবং এর প্রসার রোধে ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে কাজ করা।
