Abstract

As a comprehensive code of life offering holistic guidance for human welfare, the Holy Qur’ān does not confine economic growth merely to the measurement of material prosperity; rather, it presents a practical model of its inseparable connection with spiritual purification, social justice, and equitable distribution of wealth. This article analyzes the multidimensional structure and underlying philosophy of economic development from the Qur’anic perspective. It examines material dimensions such as the ethics of trade and financial transactions, the economic significance of commercial travel, the balanced utilization of natural resources, environmental equilibrium, food security and disaster management, inheritance law, moderation in expenditure, marital and family stability, and the dignity of labor. In parallel, spiritual dimensions—faith (īmān), righteous deeds (ʿamal ṣāliḥ), repentance (istighfār), piety (taqwā), and reliance on Allah (tawakkul)—are explored as the moral and spiritual foundations of economic prosperity. Employing a qualitative analytical approach, the study identifies the fundamental principles and policy bases of growth in Islamic economic thought through an examination of relevant Qur’anic verses and their contextual interpretations. The findings indicate that, within the context of contemporary global economic inequality, the Qur’anic vision of economics provides an effective framework for humane, just, and sustainable development.

সারসংক্ষেপ : মানবকল্যাণের সর্বাঙ্গীন দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদানকারী এক পূর্ণাঙ্গ জীবনব্যবস্থা হিসেবে পবিত্র আল-কুরআন অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধিকে শুধুমাত্র বস্তুগত সমৃদ্ধির পরিমাপে সীমাবদ্ধ রাখেনি; বরং আত্মিক শুদ্ধি, সামাজিক ন্যায়বিচার, এবং সম্পদের ন্যায্য বণ্টনের সাথে এর অবিচ্ছেদ্য সম্পকের্র বাস্তব দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থাপন করেছে। আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধে আল-কুরআনের দৃষ্টিতে অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নের বহুমাত্রিক গঠন ও অন্তর্নিহিত দর্শন বিশ্লেষণ করা হয়েছে, যেখানে বস্তুগত উপাদান যেমন—বাণিজ্য ও আর্থিক চুক্তির নৈতিকতা, বাণিজ্য সফরের অর্থনৈতিক গুরুত্ব, প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদের সুষম ব্যবহার, পরিবেশগত ভারসাম্য, খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা ও দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা, উত্তরাধিকার আইন, পরিমিত ব্যয়নীতি, বিবাহ ও পারিবারিক স্থিতিশীলতা, এবং পেশাভিত্তিক পরিশ্রম—প্রধান বিবেচ্য হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি আত্মিক উপাদানসমূহ—ঈমান, নেক আমল, ইস্তিগফার, তাকওয়া ও তাওয়াক্কুল—অর্থনৈতিক সমৃদ্ধির নৈতিক ও আধ্যাত্মিক ভিত্তি হিসেবে বিশ্লেষিত হয়েছে। গবেষণায় গুণগত বিশ্লেষণ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে সংশ্লিষ্ট কুরআনের আয়াত ও প্রাসঙ্গিক ব্যাখ্যার আলোকে ইসলামী অর্থনৈতিক চিন্তায় প্রবৃদ্ধির মৌলিক ভিত্তি ও নীতিগত দিকসমূহ নিরূপণ করা হয়েছে। গবেষণার ফলাফল নির্দেশ করে যে, সমকালীন বৈষম্যমূলক বৈশ্বিক অর্থনৈতিক বাস্তবতায় আল-কুরআনের অর্থনৈতিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি মানবিক, ন্যায়নিষ্ঠ ও টেকসই উন্নয়নের একটি কার্যকর কাঠামো উপস্থাপন করে।
