প্রাণী হত্যা : ইসলামী দৃষ্টিকোণ | Killing Animal: Islamic Perspective

Abstract

Allah has created innumerable number of animals and creatures on earth. They are always busy with praising Allah and serving mankind. They play a great role in keeping environmental balance. Considering all these, Islam has declared detailed rules and regulations about animal. The Holy Quran and the Sunnah have set their rights. However, differences exist in rules about animals based on differences in nature and characteristics of animals. Based on nature and characteristics, such rules contain some actions related to animals which are simply allowed in Islam, while some are mandatory, some are makruh (i.e. not liked) and some are forbidden (unlawful), etcetera. The main objective of this article is to analyze and describe rights of animals and related rules in Islam. This article has been prepared following descriptive method of presentation. It describes identity of animals, their rights, kind of animals which is permitted to kill/slaughter and the kind which is not permitted, killing of demon, rule on mistakenly killing of animals, etcetera. The study proves that the rules of Islam in establishing animal’s rights are quite logical. In one side, Islam prohibits creating any trouble to animals and determined rules and regulations for animal husbandry, while, on the other hand, considering the public interest it allows killing of some others.

সারসংক্ষেপ: মহান আল্লাহ পৃথিবীতে অসংখ্য প্রাণী সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এগুলো সর্বদা তাঁর প্রশংসায় এবং পাশাপাশি মানুষের সেবায় নিয়োজিত। পৃথিবীতে পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষায় প্রাণীর ভূমিকা অপরিসীম। এ সব দিক বিবেচনায় ইসলাম প্রাণী সম্পর্কে যথাযথ বিধি-বিধান দিয়েছে। পবিত্র কুরআন ও সুন্নাহ প্রাণীর বিভিন্ন অধিকার ও প্রাপ্য নির্ধারণ করেছে। প্রাণীর শ্রেণি ও বৈশিষ্ট্য ভেদে এ সম্পর্কিত বিধানেও ভিন্নতা রয়েছে। ক্ষেত্র অনুযায়ী বিধানগুলোর কোনোটি প্রাণী সম্পর্কিত আচরণকে বৈধ, কোনোটিকে ফরয অথবা মাকরূহ বা হারাম ইত্যাদি রূপে বর্ণনা করেছে। ইসলামের দৃষ্টিতে প্রাণীদের অধিকার ও এ সংক্রান্ত বিধিবিধান বিশ্লেষণ করা এই প্রবন্ধটি রচনার মূল উদ্দেশ্য। বর্ণনামূলক পদ্ধতিতে রচিত বক্ষ্যমাণ প্রবন্ধে প্রাণী পরিচিতি, অধিকার, কোন্ প্রাণী হত্যা করা বৈধ ও কোন্টি নিষিদ্ধ, জিন হত্যা করা, ভুলক্রমে প্রাণী হত্যা ইত্যাদির বিধান তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। গবেষণা থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়, ইসলাম প্রাণীর অধিকার এবং এ সম্পর্কিত যে বিধি-বিধান প্রণয়ন করেছে তা অত্যন্ত যুক্তিযুক্ত। একদিকে ইসলাম প্রাণীকে কষ্ট দেয়া নিষিদ্ধ করে এদের প্রতিপালনের বিস্তারিত বিধান দিয়েছে, অন্যদিকে জনকল্যাণ বিবেচনায় কিছু প্রাণী হত্যা করার অনুমতিও দিয়েছে।
