Abstract

Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, the most influential Turkish Muslim theologian, was well versed both in traditional Islamic theology and modern sciences. He played a key role in the Islamic revival in modern secular Turkey through a faith-based movement. He observed closely the ideological differences of the Muslim Ummah and tried his best to resolve them. He called for the establishment of Muslim unity through dialogue, avoidance of hypocrisy and due observance of the methodologies as enunciated in the Qur'an. This article has made recourse to the descriptive and analytical methodology of research. The author demonstrates that Said Nursi, to resolve the differences and divisions of the Muslim ummah, has urged to establish a strong Muslim unity on the basis of full faith in Allah (SWT), tolerance and balanced thoughts. Moreover, he put much emphasis on the presentation of thoughts and arguments with evidence, avoidance of transgression and adoption of moderate approach to accomplish the aforesaid benign project.

সারসংক্ষেপ : তুরস্কের মুসলিম ধর্মতাত্ত্বিক সাঈদ নুরসী ছিলেন ধর্মীয় ও আধুনিক  জ্ঞানের আলোয় আলোকিত একজন মানুষ। তিনি বিশ্বসভিত্তিক আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে আধুনিক ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ তুরস্কে ইসলামী পুনর্জাগরণে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখেন। মুসলিম উম্মাহর চিন্তানৈতিক মতবিরোধকে তিনি কাছ থেকে দেখেন এবং তা নিরসনে আপ্রাণ প্রচেষ্টা চালিয়ে যান। কপটতা পরিহার করে সহনশীলতা ও আল-কুরআনের পদ্ধতি অনুসরণের মাধ্যমে মুসলিম ঐক্য প্রতিষ্ঠার আহ্বান করেন। আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধ বর্ণনা ও বিশ্লেষণ পদ্ধতি অবলম্বনে রচিত হয়েছে। এতে দেখানো হয়েছে, সাঈদ নূরসী বর্তমান মুসলিম উম্মাহর মতবিরোধ ও বিভক্তি নিরসনে আল্লাহর প্রতি পূর্ণ বিশ্বাস; সহনশীলতা; প্রমাণসহ চিন্তা ও যুক্তি উপস্থাপন; জ্ঞান, ধর্ম ও নৈতিকতার মাঝে সমম্বয় সাধন; সীমালঙ্ঘন পরিহার করে মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বন এবং  বিশুদ্ধ আকিদা (বিশ্বাস)-এর ভিত্তিতে সুদৃঢ় মুসলিম ঐক্য প্রতিষ্ঠার কথা বলেছেন ।
